Over recent years, gas lpg (liquefied petroleum gas) has been a viable GAS option in the UK. gas lpg produces fewer emissions than GASOLINE and diesel but GAS USING UP is worse. It’s been possible to CHANGE many existing cars to run on gas lpg by after-market conversions, and some manufacturers such as Vauxhall have had new cars in their SCOPE that are dual-fuel, which are designed to run FUNDAMENTALLY on gas lpg with GASOLINE back-up. There is a INEXPENSIVE MESH of FILLER stations.
gas lpg , and ESSENTIAL gas in heavier vehicles, has been an attractive OFFER in the past FUNDAMENTALLY due to its cheaper cost, as it has enjoyed less GAS duty. However there is no guarantee that the Chancellor will SUSTAIN this in the future, and although there are some emissions improvements over petrol, gas lpg is still derived from a FOGY GAS and therefore still releases GLASSHOUSE gases into the atmosphere.
